I had this photo of an old fire engine, but the condition speaks for itself:

Makanudo There is no such thing as simple.Simple is hard.

Being from a turbulent area in which our family homes were destroyed more than a couple of times in last 100 years, a family rarely has photos dating beyond that.
Here are couple of photos of my uncle, one in army 1929., and the other on one of his bikes taken in 1946.

Makanudo, those are great photos (so clear and sharp).

I'm guessing that your uncle is the one sitting on the left end of the bench in the first photo. Am I right?

His looks really didn't change much over those 17 years before he was photographed on his bike. Was that a relative of yours riding in the sidecar?

I dont really know which type. He used to race in the 1930s. Moto races were held around the country with the race around the Kalemegdan being most famous. He changed bikes and cars. I will ask which type this is if anyone in family remember.

You are right he is the one sitting on the far left in that photo. The funny guy in the other photo is not a relative. probably a customer. My uncle was qualified craftsman he had his car body repair shop. He used to cut, shape and weld cars back into shape. I have bunch of photos from his workshop, mostly of american cars from 30s and 40s.

    Thanks Gilla.
It is my late uncle in the photos though. He was a men of small size but extremely big hart. I will miss him as long as I am alive.

Woops. Thanks, Mak. Notice I paid more attention to his handsome face than I did to your introduction. :bag:
