Small Jewish Bowl - Hand made

    I don't really know what the purpose of this piece is be it ceremonial or otherwise. I believe it is sterling. It's definitely hand made and I don't even know what language the script on the bottom is. Looks kind of like hebrew but I just can't tell. Anybody wanna take a stab at this for me?     Jewish? Nope. I see a southeast Asian language and a Buddha-like figure.

    That makes sense. Sent me in a better direction too. Thanks. So I think the language is cambodian and it might be an offering bowl.

    It looks nice, but that don't look like no hebrew I ever seen.

    I reckon like the others do - it's probably Asian.

    I would think it comes from Thailand, the figure and the script look to me like that.

    Okay so it is Thai. The lettering says 'Damrong Silp', and after further investigation I found that there is a 'Damrong Silp Silver' company in Thailand.
