When you see that old coffee bin in poor condition at the auction, remember that it looked bad in 1915 too.

That certainly is a well-stocked store. Terry, do you know about when the photo was taken? Just curious.

    This one is about 1910-1915

Edit: I guess the Kellogg's Corn-Hot box makes it more 1920ish

Oh, now I see the "Corn-Hot" box on top of the canned goods on top of the display cabinet to the left of the standing lady.

Thanks for the dating of the photo. ;)

I don't believe I've shared this photo by renowned Detroit photographer Frank Scott Clark. Pity about the condition but at least the actual photo area is pretty good. Such a cute little boy! Likely taken sometime between 1903 and 1925. (That's when Mr. Clark had his own studio.)

Lovely photo, bluumz! I think it's more from the early part of the time range you listed. The first decade of the 20th century was when that type of outfit was popular for boys. There was a version for girls, too.

Thank you for the dating confirmation, Fig. :)

Unfortunately, the photo actually looks a bit more yellowed than my "photo of a photo" depicts. And it's quite large, about 10" tall.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Why do men think it sounds like a good idea to get into vehicles and go really fast and wipe out and wind up in pictures like this? Sorry, couldn't resist. Just sticking up for their poor wives and girlfriends who had to put up with 'em! :bag:
Yes, I'm going to my room now.
