feeder small 5.jpg feeder small 2.jpg feeder small 3.jpg Hi all, hoping there may be a bird cage collector or pottery person who can give me a better idea of age on this water feeder. Someone suggested it was English stoneware (makes sense as i'm in England!), though I wonder if it could be French, with a lovely pale duck egg blue crackled glaze. The spout has raised decoration in a very formal classical style. I'm leaning towards it being Regency Georgian rather than Victorian purely because of the colour and style but does anyone have more info? I have been unable to find another example online so far.

Makes sense it's a bird feeder but could it also be a water dropper? Probably not, just dreaming I guess.

My first thought was a water dropper I must admit, but I did ask in an Asian pottery site and it was there that a bird feeder was suggested due to the shape.

Makes sense, it would roll around annoyingly if a water dropper, I would think ...

Wierdly it sits still and the bottom of the spout stops it rolling!
