Decanter for Tantalus wanted

I'm looking to replace this broken decanter that somebody tried to get out of the Tantalus without a key. The base, not including the neck is approximately 6" tall, with the neck and spout, 8 " tall and approximately 3 3/4" wide. Interested even if you have a base without a stopper since I have the stopper. Thank you.

I had one years ago that I had to replace all three bottles since I never found a matching one.

Obviously someone was too tantalized by the thought of what the bottle either held or was designed to hold that he/she lost all sense of what he/she was doing. What a shame.

 

Greg, I looked at replacing all three but I'm finding it too expensive.

 

If you can't find the actual triplet, find one with a similar design, but perhaps different shape, and put it in the middle.

 

has to be the same height though....

I came upon this listing and wondered if you'd seen it if you're still looking. It looks close but hard to tell about the size as they've not given measurements of just the bottle without the stopper.

To the states shipping is high though.

Thank you! I will email her to find out the exact measurements. If it fits, I will have decide weather to spring for the high shipping. I'll let you know how it goes.

(But Mill Cove gave measurements without the stopper I think and there is no width)

 

Thanks Aquitane but as SOS said, it didn't give the height without the stopper or the width.

 

It's to wide. Thanks SOS, it was worth a try.

 

Oh well, I didn't think it was a perfect match but gosh darn close in looks. Sorry about that.
