So far this has been a fun game of "what in the hell does this say," as we try to decipher this signature, and so far have come up with nonsensical.
Would anyone please give a shot here? Thank you in advance.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Harry Vaughn then? Although, that could be a "dot" for an "i" over a letter in the first name.....

I thought Harry too, at first, but that dot is weird.

OK, call me crazy, and I don't think it did anything for the signature except put it upside down, but, I did turn the whole image upside down and now I see people and a face......bizarre, huh???? Does anyone else.....a couple are like standing in tall columns.....there's a face near the bottom center.....seems to also be other stuff I can't quite make out, but it all seems to make a bit more sense than the other way around...maybe just to ME!! OH, and on the VERY FAR RIGHT, in all black ink, it looks like a TALL couple kissing!!! I DID give you permission to call me crazy.....temporarily!!!:joyful::joyful::joyful:

Thank you very much. I see Vaughn too. I find an artist "Keith Vaughan," but the mystery continues.

Ha! That would be incredible if it is hanging upside down. I am going to double check the frame. Maybe framed upside down? Thank you again for the insight, and your good humor about this.

It's possible that the circled part represents "ington" , but I'm not getting too far with that.

And I'm well aware there may not be enough bumps and squiggles and crossed ts for that. Blame the artist, not me. :p

My best guess at the moment is Hundington.

Which has led to precisely zero relevant results, but I post it in case it inspires someone else on to something useful.

I'm pretty stuck on the "ding" of "Hundington," but everything else is up for grabs.:shame:

This artist was just terrifically cruel.

I hope someone sorts it soon, I have work to do. :joyful:

Thank you for your insight! I'm still addicted to this mystery.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

One of the harder ones! To me it looks like the end of it might be "hagh" or "haghn" But otherwise... nothing except the first letter being "H." I do see a "58" to the lower left of the beginning of the signature. Maybe too obvious?

I don't think it was framed upside down, unless somehow the artist's signature was printed onto it upside down.
