Featured sterling bracelet Buckle Bracelet?

Is this called a buckle bracelet? Must be for a child as the diameter is only 2". Hallmarks are Birmingham 1951 E Mander Ltd

It looks like a Victorian piece and may well have been made for an adult. Some women back then were pretty tiny. Lots of them weren't even 5 feet tall.

 

Thanks evelyb30! Yes, the design is very nice, goes all the way around. I thought it would be older but the date stamp is for 1951

 

Slider, yes. If the mark is 1951 I'd agree it's for a child. Very common then as christening or communion or confirmation gifts.

I agree, even mid-20th century women were significantly smaller. My mother was 5' and grandmother even shorter, and I'm only 5' 3" or so. My wrist diameter is less than 2" at the narrowest point.
