You do such nice work. I can see why you are in demand.

 

I gave all my glass away a couple years ago, but this worked its way back. A personal favorite. I tried to gild the borders, not with the greatest success. I liked those stamped brass motifs and tried to find a selection that might be considered thematic for this box. And it’s a bit of a surprise when opened.

 

Nice! I have done some gold leaf on vehicles and I was taught long ago by a great pinstriper that to really bring it out the undercoat should be a similar color paint.

 

One of my pieces I've done recently. This measures 18x24, acrylic on canvas. This is titled Triton.

 

Another recent one. Titled Mad Scientist. Acrylic on canvas. 16x20

 

This is the style that I love. This is done on a smaller canvas but I'm hoping to nail it some day on a much larger canvas. Most of the artist that like my pieces specialize in digital work. This one is called A Summer Swim.

 

I kind of like the first two. The third one... not so much. Slathering paint on a canvas wont get you far. The work needs structure and purpose. I get some sense of that in the first two (though it could be accidental). Persist and you might get onto something.
