This pot is ~4" diameter, ~2 3/8" high; the hole is ~0.1" diameter, it weighs ~11 1/2 oz (~325 grams). The base is ~1 5/8" an includes her(?) signature. The design is ~0.012" proud to the relieved ground; the detail is exquisitely done, the carving tool was small, an' myriad individual strokes are plainly visible. I can't imagine the skill an' patience, let alone the artist's time, represented here. Truly a sacred vessel. Perhaps coil-built, but it is so very smoothly finished that I'm just guessing about that. As with the Dragon Pot, I don't think it's burnished, but have no idea how else that could have been accomplished.
Anything you can tell me about this wee treasure will gratefully received...Thanks for lookin'!

A stunning little piece, whit, truly beautiful and made by a real artist, not just a craftswoman.
Love the combination of traditional geometric designs with free, natural designs. Perfectly balanced and very elegant.
