Small Bronze Tripod Pot

    About 2 1/2" tall without the ears. Any idea of the origin? There is a wax residue on the inside so I guess it was used as candle holder but wonder if it was meant originally for something else.
    I guess it has some age but not terribly old. Do the holes on the ears look like drilled to you?

    Drilling can cause that flare in the hole but so can wear though this is so small that the load can't be too great and so unlikely to cause it.
