What kind of bumper/button?

    What kind of bumper or button are these on this piano bench? They are metal and may have been spring loaded I'm thinking but 100 years has worn them down. 20250118_153715.jpg

    Would/could you post a photograph of the piano bench itself please? It would be of greater help in dating.
