    No, I agree, about 80% of the photos I have of items I own Google lens got, I would say these were quite recognisable items, lens didn't do well metal items but it did do very well with wooden items, right wood and right region of carving, right inlay ect.
    It will get better over time but as evelyb30 said "we can still get deals on oddball items that just SMELL good"
    I did every post I've ever dome on here and it got them all apart from the metal items.

    I'm just waiting for a video version of lens that can scan 1000's of items in real time that allows you to set it to flag anything worth over £100 and take it to a car boot fair ;)

    Bar code scanners did that a decade ago. Google Lens is now chewing on what's left.
