Latin Prayer book Breviarium Romanum Autumnalis

Could anyone tell me anything about this little prayer book?
It looks in very good condition. Printed in 1946
I have found two sold listings for this exact book.
One was so bad it was just a pile of pages with the cover separated. it sold for $56
The other had torn pages with old rotten scotch tape. sold for $99.00
I paid $2.00 for this one and it is ten times better condition than the other two.

That black and red combination has been popular for a long time. I have this title page from a book on Palladio printed in 1743:

A breviary is a book for a Catholic Priest. It is one of the so called liturgical books of the Roman rite.

During Medieval times breviaries were written to serve a specific location, church or order. During the council of Trent (1545–1563), Pope Pius V reformed most liturgical books and ordered them to follow the Roman rite (hence the name Breviarium Romanum=breviary that follows the Roman rite).

The breviary normally contains 4 parts: one for every season, that mostly were bound separately:

• The winter volume (pars hiemalis)
  
  
• The spring volume (pars verna)
  
  
• The summer volume (pars aestiva)
  
  
• The autumn volume (pars autumnalis) <-- your copy

The oldest breviary in my collection (Plantin, Antwerp - 1569). As the council of Trent dictated the contents of the book, your copy will be very similar to this 377 year older copy.
