They're both small; I don't have a ring gauge but both are about 16mm ID. These came to me with a couple of bracelets, which I'll post next...all SW style but otherwise look pretty generic. The coral ring appears to have been re-sized. I'm hoping one of you joolies will see something that might help localize to a tribe, or an area...an' the Zuni-looking ring is the only signed piece among them. All comments are most welcome...thanks for lookin'!

I doubt the 1st is native , while the 2nd one , although...rushed.... is signed , so likely Zuni.

The second one screams Zuni, but I bet it was made for tourists. The first one has Native influence, but I'm not sure beyond that.

    Ditto.
One thing to remember about Navajo jewellery is that a lot of it is based on Art Nouveau jewellery. Art Nouveau jewellery was made in many parts of the world. I could see that coral ring having been made in Europe, and even in Morocco. It is the better of the two, also good stones and a nice chunk of silver for such a small ring.
Btw, I agree, it looks resized.
Thank you for the tag.:) I do have a book of NA marks, but encounter the same problem you do on the French site.
The ring is Zuni, not just because of the inlay and initials, but also the type of ring band. But with such poor quality inlay it is bound to be a minor maker. In such cases knowing the name doesn't add any value to the ring.

In general, small ring sizes don't sell very well. Your market is mainly young girls and the occasional woman with dainty hands.

Based on the construction, I wonder if the top one with the 3 red coral cabs is sand cast.
I see a solder seam in the back where it was joined together.

Same here. I wondered about sandcasting too. It doesn't read NA; the technique is used by other people too.

Is there a convenient conversion from decimal-inch to ring size?

I thought that seam was from a resizing, bicbw.

This one looks like the one on Wiki that I had bookmarked. Insecure site btw.
