Vintage or antique? Real or fake?

I would love to hear what you thik about this georgian victorian looking earrings. I dont have the testing material home i couldnt check whether this gold looking earrings are real or fake. the baby pearls looks real to mine eye
. and the stones looks garnet...

 

I think those are Indian. I do agree the wee pearls look real.

 

Modern costume. Not trying to fake or copy anything, just an eye-catching pair of earrings that will look great when you wear them.
You can check the seed pearls by rubbing them against your teeth. If they feel smooth they are faux, if not they are real.

i tested the pearls( big and small ones) they feels both sandy.
Any thougt on those red beads?

Good, sounds like they are real. They would be cultured of course, but still real.

Maybe faux coral?

Edit: I see small blobs on the pearls. That must be what you felt. It also means they are not real.

 

Thanks AJ. Yes under the magnifiyer i can see some scratches and some small blops bits on the pearls.

 

The red balls look glued in, probably glass.

 

Chinese freshwater pearls are cheap enough now that they could easily have used geniune if low-quality ones. The red looks like glass. My first thought was modern costume too, and Bollywood style fits.
