I went to an antique store last Friday and unloaded a pile. On my way home, I stopped in the ReStore and found a blue and clear swirled bowl. The much (rightly) maligned Google lens solved its mystery - Kosta Boda. On Friday I went to a local charity thrift a friend runs and found no jewelry worth buying. But on a table, formerly overlooked, were some wooden candlesticks. David Linley, so signed.
Talk about things I never thought I"d see in a New England thrift, sitting unpriced on a random table. IMG_0351.jpg kostaboda.jpg

THe site is in GBP and there aren't any sticks in the current line, but I'm not surprised he has a website now.

The Kosta is the ourobouros signature.

That Linley is a very very nice find indeed.

Oh, and there’s a pair on eBay U.K. for three hundred quid.
