This is either military or police cap badge and I believe India or around that area.

    I can't find it anywhere.

    No makers name.

Maybe fresh eyes can name it.

The crossed knives are Gurkha kukri, the symbol of Nepal.

That's how I ended up finding the police info :)
(all thanks to watching Forged in Fire, where I learned that this is the name of that type of weapon :D)

I knew they were Kukri, I actually have one or two.
They are also used by the Indian Army and the Singapore Police too.

I could not find an exact copy of this badge anywhere

Two puzzling things about this pece and the one posted by marote, the quality of both castings are extremely poor, and the original example has teh crossed kukri and truncheon in silver. Being interested in the amazing Gurkhas, I have looked all over , but have not found this perticular badge anywhere, and in addtion every type of police badge that I have found, seems to have the Nepali flag on it, not the star/ flower.
    Conclusions........??????????????
Anybody got any pictures of Kukris in their possesion that they'd like to share, then we can start a new thead.:)
