Lovely Gilt Gesso Framed Mirror

    I assume this was originally a frame for a painting? It is beautiful and very heavy! Just trying to figure out an age and any suggestions would be awesome! Thank you!     Good photos!
    I’m getting a mid-19th Century vibe due to the decorative motifs, but I suppose it could be from a wide range of years within that time frame.

    Compound frame made up of different moldings. Circa 1900 to my eye. The modified egg and dart molding on the outside suggests a bit earlier but those leaf curlicue motifs inside are more late Victorian.
