Great gift from a lovely lady.:)
I am, but I can see why you aren't.
The costumes look pre-Medieval and Medieval European to me. The mythical beasts also look European to me.

Interesting that one seller mentions Peruzzi, without any proof, and the other mentions Dragestil. Dragestil is a ca 1900 Norwegian architectural style that incorporates Viking motifs.
Peruzzi uses Florentine historic motifs, but I have never seen Peruzzi jewellery made of brass. It is one of those terms sellers often throw into the mix.

That knot motif looks European to my eye too.

I love it, honestly. She sent me some super things. This is fascinating in so many ways. I’m having great fun digging around about it, too.

Debora, that BM one is a stunner, isn’t it. And the hinge and clasp still used.

It looks like Indo/West Asian influences and a Euro-made bracelet. Short form: who knows.

There are stories in that bracelet! Just curious, with just three panels, how comfortable is it to wear?

I may be way off base but wasn’t there a story in Greek mythology about forging armour?
@Bronwen would be the one to know.

Probably more than one. IIRC that was Vulcan's job (Hephaestus?) .

It was indeed Heiphastos/Vulcan. There’s also that image of the bloke holding two mythical beasts which rings a bell.

It’s actually really comfortable. The panels are curved in such a way that when fastened, it’s like wearing a nice metal cuff. Someone thought about this thing.
