Japanese bowl...help?

    Haven't asked for help in a while. Not even sure which way is up with the signature/ mark.

    Well its a Satsuma mark but not sure who ..1920's or later.

    Bottom character is incompletely stamped - and as it's a stamped siggie, fairly late production, 1950's?

    I don't have time to look for the exact mark, but I do know that the circle on top with the cross is the Shimazu family crest.

    Most of the Shimazu family crest marks from the Meiji or Taisho period seem to be deep reddish or maroon, so I think your piece may be a later period (1940's or possibly later).

    That's ok, I can search. :)
    And the mark is kinda gold looking. The camera on my phone bites.

    Not the same mark, but this is an example of a later mark which is similar to yours (the white background within the mark):
