    I think they auctioneer wasn't too bright. Meissen didn't sell blanks as far as I know, and that paint is way too good for amateur hour anyway.

    Seconds were scores across the crossed sword marks ,single or several times with ground score marks ,,,,and later decoration was done by hausmaliers ( Unsure of spelling) the above item does not appear to be a second . Hope this helps.....Seasons greetings and a prosperous New Year to all regards..H.
