here is a large bisque figure / spill vase - the quality is exceptional - like butter - notice how the leggings are carved - has mark I am unfamiliar with - appreciate any help! ohhh - it's 9" tall and 6" in each direction - thanx again

I associate that number style with Austria and Germany.

The design looks like it wants to be two 1750s-1770s (ish) century kids playing Mozart, so I'd think Austrian too.

Pretty sure it's German -- I thought Schierholz, but that's wrong. Second half of 19th c. However, there's a good chance that I'm mistaken. @Chris Marshall Have I gone down the wrong road?

Sitzendorf perhaps? They have a mark with two parallel lines struck through a pronounced S and also two parallel lines struck through a single straight line. This seems to be somewhere in the middle.

I do still think German or French - the quality is really superb - it’s hard to tell by pics but the piece I have looks so much higher quality than the link that roaring20s provided with a similar mark - I have handled a lot of high end porcelains - this thing is better than Heubach - it is comparable to Sevres Meissen and early top shelf bisque figures - I can’t help but think the faces look French - they are almost a mix of cartoonish and realism with oversized heads and butter like features - just a hunch - I think the piece is very early
