Silver & Gold ring Maker?

I got this ring at a yard sale today and was wondering if anyone has seen this maker before? The ring is marked 950 585 with what looks like "ANDISSA"
btw it was .50!! and weighs 13.5 grams total.

Just for brevity I did not mention that I also got a sterling candle holder by duchin, a fiesta ware gravy bowl, 2 pair of work gloves and a new box of staples in addition to the ring for a total of 2.00 dollars. Sometimes you eat bear and sometimes the bear eats you! LOL

Flipping heck. You have a silver ring with 14 carat insert.

I'd be too busy wearing it to sell it. Score! I'd guess 80s Brutalist on the design, or maybe later come to think. For fifty cents I'd still be grinning. Here I was happy to get new pants for $4/pair. (LOL)

 

Andissa is a woman's name as well as a location. It might just be a good artisan piece.

What silver mark are you referring to that's '950'...??

I'm going to throw this out that the ring should be tested....in a hurry , because last I looked 950 , well that's a Palladium ..or ...a PLATINUM standard mark !!!!

 

I thought that to and I acid tested it to be sure, tested positive for silver negative for platinum.

 

Silver does turn up in 950 fineness too, especially stuff from Mexico and Israel, at least for recent users. That could easily be an Israeli piece.

 

oh well.....my heart was in the right place.....

also, in pretty much all the pieces i've seen, it is stamped platinum in the piece to avoid confusion
