    Hello Everyone,

I hope this post is appropriate here. My mother recently passed away and we have this hutch or maybe a medicine cabinet, I'm not really sure. I'm not sure if these pieces were intended to be together but they seem to belong together. In any case, not really looking to get a value on it or sell it. What I'm most interested in is what it actually was intended to be and how old it could possibly be. I believe that it may have belonged to my great grandmother so there is a chance it could go all the way back to the late 1800's I'm guessing.

Is there anyone here who could tell me more about it? Id be very appreciative. dc630893-4654-4703-9ff5-50b3f1054503.jpg

They both look around 1900 ,give or take a decade. I wouldnt think they went together originally . Are there holes in the back of the cabinet where it was attached to a wall?

Definitely did not start out life together. Dresser is circa 1900 and missing the original mirror. Top is a bit tricky to peg. Could be as old but maybe could go a couple decades newer. Probably a bathroom/medicine cabinet. Could also see how it could be a commercial fixture.

Johnny and Verybrad nailed it. Looks to be a medicine cabinet wedded to the top of a dresser. The reason they look as if they might go together is that they were both refinished to look that way after the hybridization occurred.
