I am going on a house call Monday, the seller sent me some photos and I am trying to get a feeling for value so I can make a reasonable offer for some of his items.

I did a Google lens search on this photo:

Google lens came back with Beatty Rib Opalescent for the pieces with the straight ribs. It also came back with Beatty Swirl for the others.

Looking for confirmation I found the Beatty Rib on EAPGS.org so that's good.

I found a few listings online for Beatty Swirl plus a mention in "Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass" by Bill Edwards and Mike Carwile. However, on EAPGS.org there are no Beatty Swirl pieces listed.

I am reluctant to take the word of online sellers and do not know how reliable the book is, especially since EAPGS.org doesn't list the pattern. Does anyone know about this pattern, I would really appreciate any info on this.

Thanks so much for any help!!!!!

Thank you so much! I always try to look for confirmation sources other than sites that sell. Eboo especially as no one checks listings for accuracy.

Update...I got all the Beatty glass for a reasonable price, thanks to the help I got here and Worthpoint help from @sassafras:

Plus I got these pieces, please forgive the quick and dirty photo! Ignore the red glass in the back, I like to put it out for Christmas.

Two Fenton Cranberry Dot pieces, I think the yellow JIP vase may also be Fenton, I just need to research it, three bracelets, four necklaces, a silver and turquoise pendant and a 1924 American Legion School medal. Don't think the medal has any value but I like the graphics on it :)

Thank you everyone for your help!
