What is the writing and the numbers at the bottom of the frame in the 2nd pic ? I blew it up but it just blurs. Gut feeling is not terribly old but not brand new. More like 1900-1920 .

Pretty mirror. I would have thought ‘certainly antique’ but don’t know by how much.

    I'd say at least 1920 or earlier-so that'd qualify as antique-handsome piece.What do you think folks-kind of Spanish/Rococo Revival ?

thanks for all the info. The fact is that the mirrors of this type from 1850 go for 1800 to 2000 euro's and that's the reason why allot of sellers claim their mirror is 1850 instead of 1900-1920. I can´t read what on the frame. but i think 15 N. And most of these mirrors are french. I have noticed that there is some deterioration on the side panels and that usualy indicates age.

I just wonder if the central mirror is newer and it maybe had a portrait? I'd also wonder if the top piece is a marriage since it doesn't quite fit the same width as the frame.

Well it’s all interesting. I really thinking that back of the frame looked old enough (even those nails and that hanging ring) must have been stained. The mirror I thought might have been replaced at some stage.

Anyway it’s good learning. Thank you for sharing
