    Do the Mantle clock still work? have keys? Do they sell well in the UK?
    I Sometimes wonder if people will be able to repair these kind of clocks in the near future.

    Yes all work and have keys, it's a limited market, they don't fetch much money.

    Some great finds all ! I love those moorish lamps Davey ! I needed those when I was in my Moulin Rouge phase !
    A few finds lately. I'll be glad when the holidays are over so theyll put something out other than christmas crap !
    Pretty paperweight,probably chinese but for $1 I gave it a home

    Next is a gaudy gold laden over the top compote and I LOVE it ! I do have very eclectic taste . :)

    Pottery,10 inches wide 5 high. I think they based it on Roman tile work . I only found one like it online,but thats probably because my search skills are lacking !

    Someone sent their Deco purse collection to the thrift. At $3/ea I really couldn't say no to these 3, though I did pass on others that were too damaged. Middle is marked for Germany and bottom for Czechoslovakia. I'm guessing the top is also Czech as it shares a similar pull.

    Nearly finished the clearance I have been doing for the last two weeks. It still keeps on giving.

    Found this, this morning, under some boards in the attic.

    Heaven knows how old it is and why he needed it and how he got it.

    I'm allergic to it, BTW

    I saw that earlier, yes I googled. I am fascinated by this fellow & his many “habits”. Do you need to be an MD in order to get novocaine? I know in the US you do especially for injections. I still think you need to pitch a show.

    It's a German brand, probably bought in Germany, but years ago, it looks like an old product.
    Different country, different laws.
