Japanese woodblock prints

A set of four Japanese wood block prints for sale:

1. Mother and child with puppies by Utamaro

2. Taira no Tadanori by Yoshitoshi

3. Noh actor by Kogyo

4. Noh actor in demon mask by Kogyo

 

You need the widest possible audience for these. You would be better off consigning them to an auction house. Especially as you have no idea of their value.

Agree. I think keeping them in your kids rooms while researching is a wonderful idea.

Again, why are you in a rush to sell. And you will need to describe provenance: who did you get these from, who he he get them from, etc.

Re provenance I’m not worried, but yes this is something that obviously would need to explained.
