Have you seen this man?

    I found this little guy in a Goodwill dumpster. Obviously carved wood. HEAVY! He was filthy and I don’t remember him being this dark before cleaning him up a little. His “staff” is broken and it doesn’t appear anyone has attempted to repair it. Any info would be appreciated

    Welcome @kperi . Your album is set on private, which means no one can see your little guy.
    And as komokwa explains in the link he posted, it is preferred if you post your photos in the post.

    @kperi , your carving is made in the style of the Makonde people of Tanzania and neighbouring areas. The implement looks like a hoe, to work the land.

    I can't see the Blade that well...... upload_2024-12-4_13-58-21.jpeg ...and it's an artistic carving.... but that handle style usually belongs to an axe...
