Boy, it all comes down to that "P", which seems to match 1989 as AJ stated. Looks like a very well made piece. I suppose Carnelian, etc. And yes, definitely silver.

I would still want to find the maker. Can you get a better shot of that maker's mark?

I think it's curious that the center 'drop' has cushion silver beads, but the two other drops do not. They seem added, somehow, rather than original...bwdik?

The colours and style fit with 1989 too. I wish I could see that sponsor mark better.

Thirded. The hidden ball clasp could go back to the 50s, but it still turns up occasionally. The rest hits 1989 square in the big hair and shoulderpads.

I often find those hidden ball clasps on pieces a cut above.

Exactly my thinking, they’re higher end fixings.

I agree with wlwhittier - it doesn't look original to me since the center piece is the only one with silver on either side. It's awkwardly designed

That's not unusual, especially if they needed to hit an exact length. I agree it looks a bit awkward, one ulu-shape pendant per piece is standard, but it could be original. It could also have been a necklace with earrings that someone had reassembled as one necklace.

It looks hand knotted if I'm seeing that correctly.

Well, sort of. Not every bead - maybe every fourth.

The bead is marked JKA 925? There is a maker from Germany, J. Kohle. I believe the signature is JKa (with a lower case a).

It’s a British hallmark, me dear. It would be an import mark if it were Kohle.
