I've a bag of old watches, more vintage than antique and mostly don't seem to work. Before i'll get rid of them let me show to you. Perhaps something good enough to hold.

this one has a gold-plated stretchy steel bracelet with the text excalbur l-lo g.r.f and registernumber.. on the ears part pat.end... . brand oruen vertune...

On a lot of these the metal stretch band is a replacement and the original band would have been a doubled black cord.

Im a Little confused, the mark is on the watch in the link, which is not he same brand as yours. Does your watch have that mark as well?

The Gruen watch has a replacement band. I didn't even think twice about them being together originally; it's a 30s watch and a 50s band.

Does this 1/10 g.r.f.t flexible band has any value? 20241201_115953_copy_624x837.jpg 20241201_120206_copy_756x863.jpg

From the numbers scratched inside of the case, the owner had this serviced early and often.
