IMG_2411.jpeg IMG_2412.jpeg IMG_2410.jpeg IMG_2414.jpeg It is about 66 inches long maybe 18 inches tall and 12 inches thick carved on one side with pattern extremely heavy approx 200 pounds. Thinking India sat on top of columns I am assuming. I have to find my other pics of it out of box that I have on another computer.

agree, carved corbel; being carved on only one side would indicate placement against another surface.

And how did you move that? I'd need a forklift.

I got it at an estate auction it’s also curved lengthwise to sit on another log I think. No info on it at all and I used a dolly to cart around

Try Googling antique Indian+corbel+lintel images and see what pops up.As far as age goes @Any Jewelry is the person to talk to.
I will hesitate a guess though-older ethnographic exterior pieces tend to age quite rapidly, same goes for authentic masks, esp in a semi tropical or arid windy environment.

I would love to know the age of my lintel its got to be up there in age. Im wondering how it got to Maryland. I got from auction with several high end estates at same auction house about 2 years. Might have paid a couple hundred at the most. Also the center has an maybe 3 inch hole drilled as to hold a finial of some sort

Import business or a travel souvenir from a high end tourist.Probably a few affluent areas in Maryland ?
PS-You might query the auction house (if still in business) ? He probably won't give you the previous owners name-but might have a tiny bit of a backstory-probably a longshot, but it could be an enjoyable weekend adventure.
