    No reason to think not. Everything about it is consistent with contemporary Italian factory made jewellery.

    I had one of those in the 90s. They were called no kink chains as the allegedly wouldnt kink up.

    Authentic Italian, yes. Authentic gold, will have to be checked. Many of these necklaces and bracelets are goldplated but marked as gold

    If it's damaged, then it's probably worth scrap as these type are difficult to repair. You can get an idea of worth by weighing it and looking up gold scrap prices based on the kt of your piece. Take it to a jeweler or pawn to repair or sell and they'll tell you how much of the value they'll offer (they have to make money too).

    If yours is also OroAmerica (because a LOT of companies make this standard chain) then it's origin is an American company and it's vintage. That's not going to add anything to the worth.
