I thought it may have been the seal of a New England state or town.I looked at all the states and there is no match. Anyone recognize it? It doesn’t help that I can’t make out the first word.
The second word appears to be Verra which would mean truthful/genuine in Latin.
There is an Indian on one side and an eagle I’m guessing in the middle and on the other side.
Could be a family crest I suppose. I’m sure someone will know the first latin word which should hopefully lead to an answer.

I’m guessing the patch is 19th century. Found in a miscellaneous box at a sale.
