Is this majolica or japanese moriage?

    I'm not sure what this planter is. It looks like satsuma moriage? Or is it italian majolica? It's 8" tall by10.75" 20241120_081720.jpg 20241120_081743.jpg 20241120_081756.jpg 20241120_082013.jpg 20241120_081819.jpg in diameter around the top.

    Decor is applied like icing on a cake. It is 'tubed' on.

    My first thought is fairly modern Asian.

    I agree with Ownedbybear based on the interior. An older piece would most likely be fully glazed on the interior. Still a nice decorator piece.
