    Hi,

I have a few pieces of china all different shapes and colours but with same signature. I've looked everywhere I can think off and tried goggling various letter combinations without success.

Pretty sure middle letters are 'ea' but not sure on rest.

Can anyone help me identify the maker?

    Many thanks

I worked it out in the end.

Reference for anyone else in future, they are by

    Poh Chap Yeap. (1927-2007)

Yeap came to London in 1948 to study law. He turned to pottery much later, working intially in a pottery in Aarhus, Denmark (1961), and then studying at Putney Evening Institute (1962-63) and at Hammersmith College of Art (1963-66). He subsequently became a research student at the Royal College of Art in 1967-68, following which he established his own workshop in Surrey. Taught ceramics at St Pauls' School, London, until 1975. He made stoneware and porcelain pots in traditional Chinese styles with particular attention to the quality of glazes. He retired in 1985.
