I found one reference (on eBay) as these being Brayton Laguna Pottery figurines. Little Joe Dice Player. They are about 6 inches long.

Can anyone confirm, validate, verify, authenticate, corroborate or substantiate this?

Not sure I'd want those faces staring at me first thing in the morning, or last thing at night.

Umm, I grew-up about 7 miles from where Brayton was made and handled a fair amount of their ware in collectible pottery heyday in the late 1980s-1990s. Something doesn't look right to me. The red pottery looks too red and too refined. I haven't dealt with Brayton in a long while...but I do recall coming across some of the molds being reproduced. I have a few good books, but as usual I am not in Calif right now where my pottery book are located.

And I don't recall any Brayton being cold painted...like the mouths of the pieces posted.

Sadly,I grew up at a time when there were still a ton of this stuff around. My Great Aunt had a Mammy collection. Didnt care for them then, dont now.

Awesome. thanks for the info. I'm also leaning for not being Brayton Laguna.
