WW2 Observers watch?

    As regards the pheon/broad arrow we tend to associate that with military issued items. I'm guessing that the RAF may have had equipment supplied by the Air Ministry and equipment that it procured itself (marked broad arrow).

    There are lots of AM watches without the broad arrow."
