    Hello everyone :)

Here with another ID request please. This one still has me stumped after 4+ hours of research. Acquired at an estate sale a little while back, and put aside to deal with "later". It's now "later".
There is a small jug, saucer and side plate. The jug has "RD 198232" printed in green underside. The saucer and plate have the same number embossed underside. Had a squizz @thepotteries, and if that's a registered design number, then we're talking 1892. There are no other discernable maker's marks on any of the pieces.
If the piece is held to the light, it is quite translucent (can see finger shadows). Not sure what the particular pattern is called either.
Hoping the learned ones will inform. Thanks muchly...

say_it_slowly: your sleuthing skills should be LEGENDARY! Thank you SO much. Based on the info above, do you feel it is right for me to call my pieces 'made by Samuel Radford Ltd in or after 1892' (when that design was first registered)? Although I wonder why there are no actual maker's marks. Might have been on a long-gone cup. All a little confusing though: the mark on the (Pamono link) jug above dates it to between 1879-1891 as there's no "England", and the plain white set (Thomson Roddick link) like mine, states "Crown China", which wasn't introduced until 1938. Pity that one doesn't have more pix. Might put mine back in the "later" box. :)

Sorry, I don't have any answers to any of that. Hopefully someone more familiar with this will come along to add more.

Well, not all was marked after 1891, especially if it was for the home market. Also, the registered date tells when the pattern was registered, not when the item was actually made. And it really isn't of much import as you would go by the registered date. If selling, I would think that very late 19thc to early 20th would be sufficient.
