Featured Bows and Arrows!

    More mystery bows and arrows. One bow is bamboo and all of the arrow shafts also appear to be bamboo. African? , maybe for fishing?? Arrows 1.jpg

    I'd think pacific islands , 4 birds, monkeys and small game ...
    the 2 dark ones may be african... Zulu...

    careful if u ship those.... Customs may have a issue with the feathers..

    I'm surprised they used bamboo - it gets brittle when it dries out especially when that thin - it had to be coated with some kind of resin to make it stronger.

    maybe so.....but it''s easy to find young reasonably straight growth.....
    it's lighter than wood..... and used in a humid climate ....
    path of least resistance ...
