    Hi,

I've come across this coin but can't seem to identify what denomination it is, which era or what made from.

    Appreciate any thoughts or help.

    Head side:
    Portrait is Facing right
Text: GEORGIVS .M. then not sure possibly starts BR and ends REX.

    Tails side:
Text : FIDEI DEFENSOR ET AEOVI
Image Is of horse backrider spearing dragon.

Coin colour is gold but seems too dull to be gold.

Size is similar to a new 10p coin

    Thanks

    It's a token, not a coin.

Some were produced as gambling tokens and as near as a Gold Sovereign as possible without breaking the counterfeit laws.

And that's Saint George, the patron saint of England, slewing a dragon on the reverse.

Looks like the rubbed outline could be George 1st but I know nothing about coins.
