Hi guys I have a conundrum. A fish bowl I have searched at great lengths for fruitlessly. Then after a long hard think I remembered how much a help this forum was in times of need.

My mystery is this, I have a striking and unique item that would be unmistakable if I found another example to compare. I even have:

    1) A makers monogram. A definitive L with a rather pronounced serif at the bottom.
And what is likely a C with a cross to its terminal. There is a possibility it is a G.

    2) A registered design number 817190

    3) And likely an in factory model number 255

The RD number dates this to between 1936-1938. I am based in England so have gone from the record kept at the National Archives here.

Has anybody else seen anything similar. The mark or object. Any help would be massive.

    Thanks and good luck

Ah, if you found another one this one might be unmistakable, but it would no longer be unique. ;) [When you have nothing useful to contribute, mess around with the language.]

Very cool indeed Mr. Lindpop ! The next question is how did such an singular piece get from a remote Arkansas hollar to exotic England ?
