Featured Small Ceramic Fish, Matte Glaze: Unknown Mark, Help Please?

    It's ~3 3/8" long an' weighs 18.5 grams. The glaze has the faintest blueish cast in several places, an' both eyes are somehow treated to show a metallic shine...it barely shows in pic 3.
    It has a molded mark between the pectoral fins that form its base, pics 5 & 6; I see a crown over a WG or WQ.
    I'll be most thankful if y'all can point me toward the maker of this wee treasure...I want it to be Japanese, but it's probably European. Thanks for lookin'!

    Thank you very much, Marote! Delightful news, an' the age makes it doubly precious.
    It has a flea-bite on the right pectoral, which confirms my decision to keep it...an' I'm sure glad I spotted that tiny damage before listing it!

    I always thought pastoral fins were the 5 dollar bills you threw in the collection plate on Sunday. :)
