Featured Tibetan deity? Anyone know this stuff?

    Hiya all,

    I don't know anything about it except it is heavy and appears to have some age to it..
    Any help much appreciated.

    Looks like a solid wood carving? What is the size and weight?

    As @2manybooks said, it is Yamantaka, and he is Himalayan. He is with his consort so you have both the male and the female principle, for balance.

    You didn't say, but it looks copper? The Nepali minority in Bhutan often uses copper instead of the more usual brass/bronze.

    You didn't show the base, which is important with Himalayan statues. A serious buyer/collector will want to know what it looks like.
    It has age, and it looks like it was used in a religious setting, with that copper plate on the base, but showing the base is important for both.
