L&N has been sold twice, the last being almost 30 years ago...so not a lot of chance to find archives to interrogate. The sticker seen in pic 5 says: Cat. No. P1-24-C.SYS, Coil Res 250 Ohms.
Footprint is ~4 1/2" X ~2 5/16", weight is ~26 1/2 oz. It has a cardboard box, but it's awfully ratty; pic 4 shows the (loose) box cover. The linen tag in pic 6 says to Telegraph for a new galvanometer in case of 'breakage'...which surely dates it broadly.
I'm hoping for a link to a site that may be able to help ID the overall unit, an' tell me roughly when it was made.
Any other comments an' observations will be most welcome...Thanks for lookin'!
