Featured Cameo Help Needed Please

Hello everyone. I am a new forum member and very happy to have found you.
I’m slowly working through and organising three generations of treasures from both sides of my family.

In my Grandmothers box, I have found this Cameo. It is Around 5.5cm tall and 4.5cm wide. There is a thin Gold mounting or frame in which I think it once was set, but I’m not sure if they even belong to each other. Then there are broken bits of a frame which I'm including in case it helps with dating the Cameo.

I cannot find anything similar in terms of the style of woman and her headdress to help me date my Cameo or to figure out where it may have originated.

I would very much appreciate any help.

Cameo Help Needed Please

 

That probably is the remains of the mount for this cameo. If the up & down undulations of the frame follow those of the shell, you will know for sure. The bits that are the most informative about age are missing. The hinge, clasp & pin stem can have a lot to tell. This looks late 19th century to me. She's definitely an antique at this point.
