Featured The Berlin Blockade 1948 candlesticks

These are fascinating. However, I can't find much on the maker. There's also an engraved surname on the base, Hodson - and I found an American serviceman of that name who was involved in the Airlift.

Gatow is, of course, the suburb where the airport is still.

My theory is that these were gifted by a grateful city.
