We picked up this piece at a large estate sale. Not sure of origin or age. Any ideas?

FYI- Estate had several art pieces. The collection was mostly between 1930's-1960's. Several Native American pieces. They also had original art from Mexican Artist, Manuel Felguerez. This information usually helps us figure out what it might be.

It is a whistle. It could be native American but has a more Mayan look. IMG_9238.jpg IMG_9237.jpg IMG_9240.jpg IMG_9239.jpg

Agree with Jeff here. The darkening is intentional and not actual.
