Did you find out anything about the James Thurfer painting. I got one at an estate sale in FL, Same signature and sty TY
My friend's mother got her painting in FL as well. My friend wanted to know if the signature was for the real James Thurber. The responses on the board were that it is not James Thurber the Illustrator but likely someone local who's not well known. I tend to agree with them.
