Lamps

I have a pair of lamps that a family member brought over from England in the 1960"s. Anyone familiar with these?

      Looks like spelter (white metal/zinc alloy)? No marks on the base? Is there a push button (or hole for one) on the base? If not, perhaps they were converted from candelabras?

      Without knowing much else, I'm thinking it's c. 1920-40, and a reproduction in the style of a caryatid candelabra.

      Seeing your lamp reminds me I need to get with finding out about a figural caryatid lamp bronze piece I have! I love this style of stuff.
